The J in Jenomics stands for Java! We have been building professional Java applications since 2001. From rich clients with Swing and JavaFX to JEE backends on Tomcat and Glassfish.
Since 2002 we have been designing and building web frontends for browser-based business applications. From simple HTML5 frontends to complex single page applications (SPAs).
From the first idea to fully implemented software, we also bring in-depth expertise in software concept and architecture.

For more than 10 years we have been building professional Ruby on Rails applications. From management frontends to complete single page applications (SPAs).

As part of CMM (Code Maturity Management), a large German car maker wanted to turn the source code of its vehicles' safety bus into a functional model and use it for incident analysis and compatibility management.
Jenomics wrote the parser that turns the C code into an AST (abstract syntax tree) and provided it as a DLL via a JNI interface in the CapeC tool.
A film production needed a tool to steer its entire digital computer graphics production: 150,000 tasks had to be managed within 9 months.
Together with NXN, Jenomics designed an XML Application Framework (XAF) and implemented it in Java inside AlienBrain, NXN's version control system for media content. The XAF was used to build the production workflows and their UI, including a browser-based, groupable table editor.
Employees of an international corporation needed to create banners for content pages in their MS SharePoint intranet themselves, within the corporate design rules and without extra tools such as Adobe Illustrator.
Jenomics built a Java application (image editor) in which corporate-design-compliant templates are defined in XML. Integrated into MS SharePoint, the editor lets people design and upload banners for intranet content pages from these templates.
For an international corporation, an internal platform for independent, internationalised telephony and video conferencing in the corporate design was created.
Within these requirements, Jenomics developed and implemented a SIP(S) client for telephony and video conferencing in Java, based on the JRC (JenomicsRichClient) framework.
For a large German bank, a browser-based application was needed to upload and edit personal images for designing credit cards.
Jenomics built a web frontend for uploading and editing, which passes the data through a backend to credit card production. The backend includes a rule-based system that checks the defined requirements.
